Double Date

Tonight, we enjoyed a double date with Joey and his girlfriend, Ryan. First, we went out to Farren's, where I had a not-so-delicious pesto grilled cheese. I think I'll stick with their burgers from now on! However, the drinks at Boltini afterwards totally made up for it!

Al got his cast taken off today! YAY!

Grace's Birthday

I always have a great time at family parties, and we have a lot of them, which makes it even better. Tonight, we celebrated Grace's birthday at John and Jean's house. As usual, the food was delicious, the wine was awesome, and the treats were plentiful! 

I love getting to spend as much time as possible with my family, and always treasure these awesome get-togethers!

Jewelry Appointment

I'm very picky. Therefore, this jewelry appointment was somewhat trying. I just didn't feel like any of the pieces I tried on fit my personality (not to mention my budget!)

However, I did pick the veil of my dreams!

Neat! Also, depressing. I've had this car for less than three years.

"Five more minutes..."

This is what I used to say over and over to my mom when she'd try to wake me up for school in the morning. "Just five more minutes..." Inevitably, I'd end up having the covers torn off of me eventually or be nearly tickled to death, so I'd have no other option than to get up. Mila's face in this picture totally reminded me of my irritation with being woken up as a kid! If our kids are anything like our dog-child, it looks as if I'll have some payback in my future!
