Caribbean Night

Becky and Marc, Drew and Lisa, and Al and I all decided to have our first dinner at the outdoor Caribbean festival the resort was hosting that night. In the gorgeous weather, it was really difficult not to want to eat outside. Naturally, after putting our names in for a table, the first thing I did was hold some parrots...no big deal...

Unfortunately, we waited a bit too long to head down to dinner, so it ended up taking a while to get us a table. However, once we were sat, the buffet-style food was very good, and the show was great! We watched many different kinds of Caribbean dance and all had a blast relaxing together. After dinner, we headed up to the sports bar at the resort, Scores, not to be confused with the raunchy Chicago strip club. ;) We had a couple of drinks with Drew and Lisa there, before heading back to our room to get some much needed shut-eye. All in all, I'd say it was a fabulous first day in Mexico!
