One good thing about teaching is the occasional confidence boost when you come in with a new look. I got a new cut and color yesterday after school and walked in feeling pretty snazzy today. Everywhere I went, the students would stop, mouths agape, and say something along the lines of, "Oh. my. God. I LOVE your HAIR!"
This was all well and good until seventh period when I was starting class and a student asked, "Is that a wig?" Nice.
